The Akashi city provides free and anonymous testing for HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis 

In principle, the test is offered on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month(dates may vary by month).

Note: We do not issue formal certificates of test results.

Online reservations (first-come, first-served).
Reservation window: from 12:00 a.m., 14 days before the test date, until 12:00 p.m., 2 days before the test date.
If you do not have internet access, please call Hokenyobouka to make an appointment (078-918-542).

Results are provided in person at the Health Center. We do not provide results by phone or mail.

HIV and Syphilis: on the test day between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Hepatitis: from 7 days after the test date. The Health Center will arrange your return date and time.
 

Note: For HIV testing, an additional blood draw may be required depending on the screening result. Please be sure to come on the test day to find out about your results.

If a weather warning(heavy rain, flood, or storm warning) is in effect in Akashi City at 7:00 a.m. on the day of testing, testing will be canceled. No make-up dates are offered; please make a new reservation for another day.
